Licensing FAQs

Regular license

  • Use in a single end product, free or commercial.
1- The Regular License grants you, the purchaser, an ongoing, non-exclusive, worldwide license to make use of the digital work (Item) you have selected.
2- You are licensed to use the Item to create one single End Product for yourself or for one client (a “single application”), and the End Product can be distributed for Free.
3- You can’t Sell the End Product, except to one client. (If you or your client want to Sell the End Product, you will need the Extended License.)

Extended License

  • Use in an unlimited number of end products, free or commercial. May be used with different clients, but not for on-demand customization products or services.
1- The Extended License grants you, the purchaser, an ongoing, non-exclusive, worldwide license to make use of the digital work (Item) you have selected.
2- You are licensed to use the Item to create Unlimited End Product for yourself or used with different clients, and the End Product may be Sold.

No. You can’t license items and then make them available to others ‘as-is’ (that is, as a stand-alone item or as stock), regardless of which license you purchase.

Yes. You’re essentially buying the file on your client’s behalf. Whether a regular or Extended License is needed will depend on your client’s use of the end product. With both the regular and Extended License you are allowed to charge your client for creating the End Product. Once you transfer the end product to the client (eg giving them source files for the item), be sure to link your client to our licenses and delete the item itself from your computer.
